Monday 3RD December BWFC ladies were invited to St Georges Park in Burton as part of the FA campaign to promote all aspects of the women’s game, including walking football. This coincided with the announcement that England will host the women’s Euros in 2021.
Our ladies got the chance to play Bedford on the new indoor 3G pitch and got to meet the England Lionesses Manager and ex footballer Phil Neville! Phil also brought along England and Birmingham City striker Ellen White and ex England Lady Rachel Unitt to give tips and advice to the girls on their visit.
After the games the ladies were treated to a tour of St Georges Park and even got to view the England first teams changing rooms! Thank you to all who were involved in making this a very memorable day for BWFC ladies!
